Terms of use

Last updated 8 June 2026

Scope

These terms of use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website erynoa.com and its sub-pages, including the information presented about the Argus project (together, the “Website”). By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

Operator

The Website is operated by Niklas Klein, Krifteler Straße 34, 60326 Frankfurt am Main, Germany, email contact@erynoa.com. The full provider information is set out in the Imprint.

About this website

The Website is an informational and marketing presence for the Argus project by Erynoa. It describes a product and a vision that are under development. The Website itself does not constitute a binding offer to conclude a contract, and no product, service, or particular feature is promised or guaranteed to be made available. Any future Argus product or service may be provided under its own separate terms.

Permitted use

You may access and view the Website and its content for your own personal, informational, and non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and applicable law.

Prohibited use

When using the Website, you agree not to:

  • use it in any unlawful way or for any unlawful purpose;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Website, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to its servers or connected systems;
  • introduce malware or any other harmful or disruptive code;
  • circumvent, disable, or probe security or access controls;
  • use automated means — such as bots, scrapers, or crawlers — to extract data in a way that places an unreasonable load on the infrastructure or is otherwise contrary to these Terms;
  • copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the content, except as permitted by law or with our prior written consent;
  • use the content to develop a competing product or service;
  • misrepresent your affiliation with, or impersonate, Erynoa or any person.

Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, all content on the Website — including text, graphics, layout, design, source code, images, and other materials — is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property rights and belongs to the operator or its licensors. Apart from the limited right to view the Website as intended, no rights or licences are granted to you. Any other use requires our prior written consent.

Trademarks

“Erynoa”, “Argus”, the associated logos, and other product and company names are trademarks or trade names of the operator. Nothing on the Website grants any right or licence to use them, and they may not be used without our prior written permission.

Links & third parties

The Website may contain links to third-party websites and resources, such as our profile on X. These are provided for convenience only. We do not control them, do not adopt or endorse their content, and are not responsible for their accuracy, availability, or practices. Following such links is at your own risk and subject to the relevant third party’s own terms and policies.

No warranty

To the extent permitted by law, the Website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any information is accurate, complete, or current. Content may be changed or removed at any time without notice.

Forward-looking statements

Descriptions of the Argus product, its capabilities, roadmap, or vision are forward-looking and reflect current intentions only. They are not commitments, representations, or guarantees. The actual product — if and when it is released — may differ, may be delayed, or may not be released at all.

Availability

We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue the Website or any part of it at any time, with or without notice, and we are under no obligation to keep it available, complete, or up to date.

Liability

We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for damage arising from injury to life, body, or health, under the German Product Liability Act, and to the extent of any guarantee we have expressly given.

For slight negligence, we are liable only where a material contractual obligation has been breached — that is, an obligation whose fulfilment is essential to the proper use of the Website and on whose observance you may regularly rely. In such cases our liability is limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Any further liability is excluded. This limitation applies accordingly to the personal liability of our employees, representatives, and vicarious agents.

Privacy

Information about how we process personal data when you use the Website is set out in our Privacy policy.

Changes

We may amend these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to the Website or to legal requirements. The current version is always available on this page and applies to your use of the Website. Please review it periodically.

Governing law

These Terms, and any non-contractual obligations arising from or in connection with them, are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of habitual residence.

Jurisdiction

If you are a merchant, a legal entity under public law, or a special fund under public law, the exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms is Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Otherwise, the statutory places of jurisdiction apply.

Severability

Should any provision of these Terms be or become invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by the statutory rule that comes closest to its intended economic purpose.
